This is a picture of the commissioning ceremony when the Brough was commissioned. The gentleman at the microphone is LtCmdr. Ken Hartley, He was the first skipper and was killed on the shakedown cruise. The Chief in the foreground was Phil Sicolla. Fondly known as Chief Goddamn. This as a result of the lead in phrase to just about everything that was stated. In the beginning he was the driving force to make sailors out of all of the greenhorns that were foistered on him. Directly behind the LtCmdr, and quite short, is Milton Stein. He was the skipper up to the time we came up to Green Cove Springs, FL. He attended the reunion in Michigan and now lives in California. As to the rest of the officers the only one that may be able to help would be Doug Burgess.
