On September 18, 1943, the D.E.148 was commissioned the "Brough." It was permanently stricken from the U.S. Navy list in 1966. But the story does not end there. For just as the men who served on the Brough became a part of her history, she also became part of theirs. There are still tales to be told, memories to be shared, and pictures over which to reminisce.
Thus is the purpose of this website. It is created as a place for those interested to post any information about the Brough that they would like to share with others. I will maintain and organize the site. It will, however, be up to the visitors here to supply the material. I have created a few categories to get it started. They are by no means the limit of what can be contributed. If you would like to add anything to this site, jump onboard the Brough below.
